I know I initially had Mayra and Stephen thinking I was a little wacko from all the noises I was making every time I snapped their pictures. I oohhh and ahhh and coo’d, and they giggled and looked at each other like, uh oh we got us a coo coo bird on our hands. 🙂 Maybe they didn’t think that, but if they were able to peek behind the camera and see what I was seeing they might be doing the same thing. Ed Levin County Park was a perfect backdrop for these two love bird’s engagement session. They brought a little glam to the beautiful green hills of the park and I just loved the way the landscape played off of their gorgeous gold and black attire. I wanted their engagement photos to be extra special as they share an extra special bond.

Mayra and Stephen are both active in their church and active in sports, and overall just great people, but here is what makes them special. Mayra and Stephen will be sharing their first kiss on their wedding day. It is not every day that you come across a couple who has decided to abstain in this way, however their closeness and connection would never lead you to believe that the have not shared a kiss. Being a hopeless romantic I think this is one of the most beautiful gifts they are going to give one another on their wedding day, and I cannot wait to capture it on camera!
