When Andie, a fellow photographer, came to me and told me she wanted me to photograph her big day I was absolutely honored and immediately excited. Excited to see to families become one, and excited to see Andie take on a new life journey all the way in Kansas City, Missouri. Like lot’s of new age couples today these two met online and after the first meet up, they both knew there was something special about the other. It didn’t take long for the love to grow and before long they were making plans to spend forever.
May the 4th be with you! Getting married on such a special day, that only a true Star Wars fan can appreciate, Andie and Chris made sure to give a nice nod to such an awesome day throughout parts of their day. With Star Wars socks, earrings and even a grooms cake, there was a little “Force” shinning throughout the day. Every detail was hand crafted by Andie & Chris with family helping along the way. Andie made the florals, the cake, cupcakes only to name a few. Being a photographer she had an eye for how she wanted her day to flow with classic vintage, elegance and beauty the day came together just as planned. I know Andie & Chris are putting the finishing touches on their new digs, that Chris is literally building by hand, but I hope they get a chance to stop and enjoy reliving their gorgeous spring sun kissed day!
