It was an overcast damp Friday when Jennifer and Victor committed their lives in front of their closest family and friends. Their smiles lit up the whole park and turned the overcast day into pure sunshine. The couple exchanged vows underneath gorgeous redwoods, bringing peace and tranquility to their day. In place of a sand ceremony the couple decided to plant a tree, however the tree was missing, which brought lots of giggles all around as the bride and groom had a good laugh. They sealed a box which included a bottle of wine and letters they had each written to each other and should read to each other in case they ever found themselves needing to reconnect. After their vows were sealed with a kiss, the little guest enjoyed the San Francisco Bubble Man, and adults enjoyed cocktail hour.

Throughout their day you could find ties back to nature and the surroundings of Stern Grove. Their cake was made of a tree stump, which included a hidden Yoda for you Star Wars fans. It was the details that I loved the most, the wedding bouquet made of broaches, including broaches from several ladies in Jennifer’s family, down to the fingerprints engraved into their wedding bands, this couple didn’t miss a thing. The couple danced the night away and later enjoyed a cookie and milk toast to go along with their kid friendly wedding. Rain didn’t stop these two from enjoying their day and I was so glad to have been a part.
